Álvaro Gómez-Pantoja, better known as Panto is a Spanish contemporary artist born in Valencia in 1996. Álvaro has started drawing from an early age when he has decided to study Fine Arts in his town. He has begun to create expressionist paintings and illustrations based on old photographs. He has been impressed by german expressionism artists and the new objectivity. By deforming and exaggerating the human face, he tries to move emotions from a sad perspective. He deals with some topics such as the family, traditional jobs, war, or marginalized people.
