Today, February 15, 2023, the online exhibition The Renascence of Disposable Papers<\/strong>: The modern surrealism paintings<\/strong> on disposable papers by Hesam Sharifi<\/strong> <\/a>will display at the Zigguart Virtual Art Gallery for one month. The exhibition, which was supposed to be held last September, was postponed due to the internal crisis in Iran and the tragic Mahsa Amini death. Now, after Five months, the organizers have decided to launch it.<\/p>

Curated by Hadi Farahmand<\/strong>, The Renascence of Disposable Papers represents the modern surrealism paintings by Hesam Sharifi on disposable papers and illustrates the theme of environmental degradation<\/strong> by a human being. Human destruction of nature is rapidly eroding the world\u2019s capacity to provide billions of people with food, water, and security, according to the most comprehensive biodiversity study in more than a decade.
Such is the rate of decline that the risks posed by biodiversity loss should be considered on the same scale as those of climate change, noted the authors of the UN-backed report. Among the standout, findings are that exploitable fisheries in the world\u2019s most populous region \u2013 the Asia-Pacific \u2013 are on course to decline to zero by 2048<\/strong>, that freshwater availability in the Americas has halved since the 1950s<\/strong>, and that 42%<\/strong> of land species in Europe have fallen in the past decade.
Although poaching often grabs the headlines for the demise of the rhino and other animals<\/strong>, the biggest threats to nature are habitat loss and chemicals. Conversion of forests<\/strong> to croplands and wetlands to shrimp farms has fed a human population that has more than doubled since the 1960s but at a devastating cost to other species \u2013 such as pollinating insects and oxygen-producing plants \u2013 on which our climate, economy, and well-being depend.
Although biodiversity and the ecosystem services it supports are not only the foundation for our life on Earth<\/strong> but critical to the livelihoods and well-being of people everywhere, the world has lost over 130m<\/strong> hectares of rainforests since 1990<\/strong>. We lose dozens of species every day, pushing the Earth\u2019s ecological system to its limit.
In this exhibition, we want to minimize nature\u2019s damage by painting on cardboard, which is thrown away in our daily life or, in the best chance, recycled in a chemical cycle. It is a gift from an artist to Mother Earth<\/strong>. Let\u2019s show the pure meaning of Modern Art to the audience and not the great medium!<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Human being and their daily life have caused much damage to nature. With the industrialization of the world, these injuries have become even Worse. If we study all the aspects of modern human life, we cannot find any part in which nature is comfortable. Art is also not excused from this disaster. Perhaps at first look, art is not considered a real danger to the earth. But with careful examination, we can see some destructive effects of art productions on nature.<\/p>

In painting, for example, mediums come into existence entirely in a process destructive to nature. Oil colors, watercolors, acrylics, pencils, plasters, pastels, etc., will poison our planet. Substrates such as canvases and papers also multiply this tragedy.<\/p>

The exhibition will be accompanied by a new musical album composed by Hadi Farahmand, which is the original soundtrack of the short film Zaqqum, The Tree Of Hell<\/strong><\/a>, directed by Hesam Sharifi e produced by Parandeh Alaei. The collection is available in English<\/strong> and Italian<\/strong> for both Italian e International audiences.<\/p>
